Matrix success for Shaw Trust teams

We are delighted to announce that our Children and Young People\’s Services (CYPS) team and Ixion team have maintained their Matrix accreditation. External assessors carried out surveillance visits in November and December 2022, and confirmed that CYPS and Ixion continue to maintain the Matrix standard.  CYPS successThere were clear areas for strength identified across the accreditation, including: Leadership and clear direction. Voluntary work helps Sean gain permanent employment

Before being referred to Shaw Trust, Sean had been on other employment programmes but unfortunately was not able to secure permanent employment. Due to his neurodiversity, Sean struggled to speak to others and often found social interactions extremely daunting.Upon joining the Work and Health Programme, Sean’s support manager Venetia found it difficult to speak with him regularly as he did not have access to a mobile phone or knowledge of how to use one. Shepherd’s Bush launches “Warm Spaces” initiative
