We have been delivering Working Win since July 2023 as the IPSPC provision across South Yorkshire for those with a health condition or disability. From the 1st October 2025 the new national Connect to Work programme (part of the Pathways to Work programme locally) will deliver the IPS support for those with mild to moderate health conditions or disabilities. This means that September 2025 is the final month for referrals to the existing Working Win programme. Those participants who are out of work when they join the service are still eligible to receive up to 12 months of support, inclusive of 4 months support once in work. The Working Win service will then close at the end of September 2026. Working Win has now ceased taking new referrals for IPS support. Please visit Pathways to Work for support for those who live in Sheffield. If you live in Rotherham, Doncaster, or Barnsley and are interested in making a referral for Employment Support you can do so here: Pathways to Work – South Yorkshire MCA Thank you for all of your support over the last two years, we look forward to working with you again in the future as part of the Pathways to Work team.

What is Working Win?

Working Win is a free service, which aims to support you if you have a physical and/or mental health condition and would like to find meaningful employment.

How does Working Win work?

A dedicated Shaw Trust Employment Specialist will work with you to provide you with a bespoke service tailored to your preferences and choices and help you to identify employment goals and create a realistic employment plan.

Through your journey on the programme, you will be supported by the Employment Specialist, who will create a personalised approach with you to help you gain paid employment and then provide ongoing in-work support, also by looking at what adjustments and assistance you might need from an employer. This will enable your new job role to be successful, to develop you in work and enable you to maintain your health and wellbeing.

If you are already in employment, when joining the service, your dedicated Employment Specialist will provide you with individualised tailored support to help you overcome employment barriers.

How Working Win benefits you?

Once referred onto the programme, you will meet with one of our highly trained Employment Specialists who will:

• Get to know you

• Create an employment action plan based on what you want to do

• Prepare your CV / practice for interviews

• If required, support with how to positively share your mental health condition to an employer

• Job search and engage with employers

• Provide ongoing in-work support

• Advise on welfare benefits and how these could be affected by going into work support
