When P’s family relationships broke down and because of persistently self-harming, P found herself under the protection of the Mental Health Act. A long hospital stay followed and her education suffered, including missing out on the start of her A level study.
From hospital P came to live with us at Homes2Inspire. To help her get back on track, her Homes2Inspire family, led by a dedicated Education Coordinator, crafted a comprehensive plan that involved on-site support from staff at her school. This personalised approach allowed P to settle back into her studies and school, and offered a helping hand during any challenging moments.
Against all odds, P emerged from this challenging period with remarkable A level results – an A*, A, and B. Her academic prowess even caught the attention of Oxford University, where she had an interview. P’s achievements didn’t stop there; she was offered places at no less than four prestigious Russell Group universities. To top it all off, she received an award for her exceptional marks in Psychology, a testament to her determination and the unwavering support she received from our teams at Homes2Inspire along the way.
