Day Placements
Day placement opportunities for social enterprises
With over four decades of experience, we empower people to live independent and more self-reliant lives.
We grow plants, people and communities through our not-for-profit social enterprises, helping individuals facing disadvantage into work across the UK.
What we offer
We provide safe, accessible spaces within an established location to deliver skills, education and work experience. We operate environmentally friendly practices promoting both a healthy work environment and developing green skills.
Placement opportunities vary depending on the location, but can include:
• Horticulture
• Retail
• Catering and hospitality
• Housekeeping
• Grounds maintenance
• Woodwork repairs
Gain skills
Our day placements provide vocational experience in a supportive environment, where individuals will learn about timekeeping, teamwork and customer service. Individuals will also gain skills in line with their placement, this could include using tools, how to identify and care for plants, stock maintenance, how to grow fruit and vegetables and how to plant seeds.
Reach potential
Through a combination of learning, work and well-being support we grow and develop individuals in line with their career goals and interests, exploring areas of work and building confidence along the way. We develop people on placements to live a safe and healthy lifestyle, learn skills for independence, and encourage social connections.
Overcome barriers
Our dedicated and experienced teams help individuals to identify and overcome barriers at their own pace through a combination of practical and emotional support. Our placements create purpose, structured days and personal development.
Work
Our specialist services are highly effective, and our end goal is to support individuals into sustainable and paid employment building on the experience and skills gained during their placement.
