Building a strong partnership with Atlas Hotels

Having had local success with Shaw Trust previously the HR Director at Atlas Hotels was keen to explore how the partnership could be developed further.
After meeting Ann from our National Account team, the HR Director agreed that Shaw Trust should work with a further 24 of their 50 hotels. As well as providing guaranteed interviews, Ann and the HR Director created the ‘Accommodate Programme’ for Participants who had a disability or health condition. A simple referral form enabled hiring managers to be informed about any Participant disabilities or health conditions prior to the interview. Vitally it also highlighted any adjustments they would need to put in place.
The result of these small changes was an increase in applications, with 23 people attending interviews over a short period of time. This resulted in 7 people securing new jobs in Atlas Hotels.
As a dedicated National Account Manager, Ann has developed a strong working relationship with the HR Director at Atlas. Reviewing the partnership regularly, they are constantly looking for ways to develop the relationship and finding new ways of working together.
