Ellenor has been running since 1985, they have been providing compassionate hospice care to those that need it most. Their vision is simple: we are dedicated to enabling every person we support to have a seamless and personal experience, that meets their needs and wishes.

Our care encompasses support that is tailored to an individual’s need in a way that will offer support to their carers and family as well. For those requiring a tranquil place for their end of life hospice care, our inpatient ward can provide this gently and efficiently. We also offer Adult Hospice@Home service for individuals who would like to receive end of life care within their own comforting space.

Our team from SWK IPS Kent & Medway meet with Lisa Crossland Senior Community Fundraising Officer who spoke about the support they needed, and the team wanted to help. As we all know Shaw Trust offer 2 volunteering days a year, so the team wanted to support and give their time to support this charity. Lisa was delighted for our support.

The team was split over two days in one of the Units in Gravesend, to assist the team with clearing donations (clothes, furniture and bric-a-brac) and checking items suitable for commerce.

During one of the days Jane Pratt Senior Employment Specialist meet with Liam Stone the Director of Operations who advised of the new warehouse that they are opening which will bring in some paid work for some of our clients. One client has applied for a part time role, so we look forward to hearing if she is offered an interview.
