The DP100 finds a new home
For over a decade, the Disability Power 100 (DP100) campaign recognised thousands of disabled leaders, trailblazers and changemakers. Shaw Trust was proud to lead the campaign and is now delighted to announce that the Disabled Entrepreneurs Network (DEN), led by Jacqueline Winstanley, has offered to take it forward. Shaw Trust is therefore donating the ownership of the campaign to DEN.
A decade of impact and influence
Under DEN, the DP100 will sharpen its focus on talent recognition, inclusive innovation and entrepreneurship.
“I look forward to seeing the next phase of the DP100 under DEN. Jacqueline has been a strong champion of the campaign and will continue to lead it independently under her stewardship and passion.”
– Chris Luck, CEO
“The Disability Power 100 has always been more than just a list for me. It’s about peer recognition, shared experiences and the collective influence we have when we come together. I am delighted that Alona Havilland will join me in shaping next phase of the campaign.
For us it was too good, and too important, to let go. For a decade it has recognised disabled people across every sector, every walk of life – beyond the familiar faces. It is that breadth and depth that is exactly what makes it matter. I am honoured to carry it forward, because I know how much community matters. For every person recognised and celebrated, there are hundreds of us quietly achieving change in our lives. The Disability Power 100 recognises this quiet, unstoppable change, and ensures that collectively, we take our space at the table.”
– Jacqueline Winstanley, Disabled Entrepreneurs Network
Thank you to the DP100 community
Although Shaw Trust will no longer oversee or shape the DP100’s activity, its legacy echoes our wider mission to support people into good work, and to break down barriers to inclusion.
The whole of Shaw Trust would like to thank the sponsors, judges, partners and members of the DP100 community for their support over the past decade. The full list of winners from 2014-2024 is still available on our website, to provide continued recognition of their achievements.
Together, we’ve helped celebrate disabled talent, challenge perceptions of disability and reinforce the importance of inclusion and employment across the UK.
The updated DP100 website will be available shortly.
