Working with our communities to open more pathways into employment

Our team has been working together to raise awareness of the IPS service across Kent and Medway.

• At the Sittingbourne Networking Group meeting, we introduced the IPS service, shared our contact details, and highlighted the support we provide.
• At the quarterly Kent and Medway business meeting, we presented the IPS service, answered questions, and showcased the positive impact we’re making to over 40 NHS staff. We also gave attendees clear guidance on how to make referrals and access our form.
• Elsewhere, we reached out to the Kent Resettlement Team to better meet the needs of diverse communities, and provide meaningful opportunities for people to build a stable future. This includes offering guidance, employment support, and clear pathways into sustainable paid work.

These developments have strengthened our connections, increased visibility of IPS, and opened the door to even more collaborative working across the region.
