We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Carley as our new Business Development Director. With over 20 years experience in bid writing and bid management, Jim has a proven track record of winning public sector contracts.
As a recognised expert in Employability, Justice and Vocational Skills, Jim has secured contracts with national government including with DWP, the Ministry of Justice, the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), as well as local government.
Starting in February, Jim will lead on Shaw Trust’s bidding for national and devolved contracts, further enhancing our ability to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving commissioning landscape. Jim will oversee the Bid Management team and the National Accounts team, reporting to Richard Clifton, Chief Commercial Officer.
Speaking about Jim’s appointment Richard Clifton said, “Jim is well-known in the sector for his strategic approach and leadership in bid management. He will be a tremendous asset to our team, further enhancing our ability to secure key contracts.”
