Providing hope and skills for a different future

We support people to rebuild their lives after custody

Justice means holding people accountable for their crimes. But it also means giving offenders a fair chance to rebuild their lives after serving their sentence. Too often those leaving the justice system get left behind. We help change that by supporting them into education, training and work to break the cycle of criminal behaviour. Providing people with the skills and knowledge for life after custody significantly reduces the likelihood of reoffending, provides financial stability and gives a sense of purpose. By giving those with a criminal record the opportunity for a second chance, we can improve public safety, strengthen families, and grow our economy.

Our impact

Helping A to build his confidence, find a community and get work

After being released from prison, A was struggling with his emotional wellbeing. He was experiencing loneliness and was uncertain about his future. Mainstream support wasn’t meeting his needs and he felt lost and unsure where to turn.

Understanding B’s PTSD makes sure support is tailored around his needs

B came to us struggling with anxiety and PTSD. He was looking to better control his symptoms, become more independent, and find a job with the flexibility he needed.
