CFO Evolution
CFO Evolution is a non-judgmental service that provides personalised support to help individuals in the Criminal Justice System that meet CFO eligibility criteria.
What is CFO Evolution?
CFO Evolution provides expert advice to individuals through one-to-one or group sessions. Taking part is voluntary and participants can work at their own pace, whether they are residing in custody, or support is being accessed in a CFO Activity Hub or in the community.
CFO Activity Hubs and community delivery provide a warm welcome and a chance to spend time with people who understand what participants are going through including everyday challenges and experiences. Our goal is to support the individuals we work with to have a crime free life.
Providing a safe space
The CFO Activity Hub is a safe space for all. Participants can decide which activities to take part in and undertake as many or as few as they want, with no judgement or pressure.
The Hub also provides specialist activities for specific groups of people and offers times for these groups such as women only sessions.
Our CFO Activity Hubs offer a safe space for:
- Debt management advice.
- Overcoming addiction.
- Support to get into employment.
- Accommodation advice.
- Access to health advice and much more.
We help with personal development such as:
- Communication skills.
- Self-esteem.
- Confidence building.
- Motivation training.
In-Custody support
Offering guidance and support from a Support Worker, we help build confidence and support people to overcome any challenges. We can help those who need it get into education, training, or employment when they leave prison or whilst serving a community sentence.
We help to build skills including:
- Job searching and CV writing.
- Communication.
- Self-esteem and confidence building.
We can also help you with:
- Debt management.
- Getting a new ID.
- Opening a bank account.
- Preparation for getting a job.

How to access support
The programme is voluntary, and participants work at their own pace. To attend an Activity Hub or see what activities we offer, you can get in touch with us yourself or ask someone else to get in touch for you, via the contact details below.
Everyone taking part will be supported by a named Support Worker. No two people are the same and neither are two CFO experiences. Your Support Worker will answer your questions and explain the support available to you. This will enable you to select the right help to get the support you need.
Contact us via email/phone, or speak to your Offender Manager, Probation Officer, or an agency you are working with to find out more.
