Today we are delighted to announce exciting changes within our Senior Leadership Team. As part of an existing and robust three-year growth plan, we have created and appointed the roles of Chief Impact Officer and Chief Strategy and Risk Officer.
Bringing expertise from a career in the charity, public and private sectors, we are delighted that Julie Leonard will be joining us from mid-September, in the role of CIO.
Julie said: “This is a unique opportunity to multiply the public benefit already achieved through the Trust’s partnerships with local and central government and with other actors driving positive social change across their communities. I look forward to growing the Foundation within the Trust, fostering and expanding our alliances, and capturing evidence of what works to deliver better impact across the sector.”
In addition, we are pleased that Scott Miller our previous Chief Operating Officer, will take on the newly created role of Chief Strategy and Risk Officer, with former Managing Director of Community Health and Wellbeing, Shelley Southon, taking the role of Interim Chief Operating Officer.
Scott Miller said: “I am delighted to be appointed Chief Strategy and Risk Officer for Shaw Trust. After 2 years as Chief Operating Officer, consolidating and driving forward our performance excellence, I am excited by the challenge of growing Shaw Trust safely in an ever more complex and challenging world. This underpins our commitment to safeguarding and increasing our social value impact through building the robustness and resilience required to deliver our strategy.”
Shelley Southon said: “The role of Chief Operating Officer is crucial to the management of our contract delivery, and I’m thrilled to be taking on the position for an interim period.”
Demonstrating a fantastic example of internal development: the role of Managing Director of Community Health and Wellbeing has been taken by David Harper of Shaw Trust.
