Stockroom Assistant

The Stockroom Assistant role is a great way to contribute to our charity at your own pace. We know that everyone has something to offer even if you have no retail experience. We’ll give you all the training you need to make a real difference. Our friendly team will help you get familiar with the tasks, and we will help you to feel confident and comfortable. Every day is different in our shop – that’s part of the fun!

Key Tasks

  • Sorting donations.
  • Steaming and organising stock.
  • Researching, and pricing donations.
  • Helping donors.
  • Keeping the shop fully stocked and tidy.

What are we asking for?

  • Typically, we request about four hours per week from our volunteers, but we are open to flexibility based on your availability.
  • A team player with a helpful and positive attitude.
  • Someone who is eager to acquire new skills and knowledge.
  • Volunteers must be aged 14+.

Volunteer hours

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and weekends, no minimum hours. There is flexibility around the start and finish times, volunteers generally volunteer for either a morning or afternoon shift.
