With winter on its way and the ever-growing concerns around heating costs, those most vulnerable in our local communities are at risk of having to choose between heating or eating.
Shaw Trust\’s Shepherd\’s Bush Hub is introducing the Warm Spaces initiative to support West London residents on the Work and Health Programme.
With a designated space in the hub, over set days and times across each week, West London Work and Health programme participants can have a place they can keep warm for a few hours, have a hot drink and talk with colleagues and other participants in a relaxing, safe and warm environment.
The Shepherd\’s Bush hub Warm Space will be held every Monday and Friday, from 10am to 1pm until the end of February 2023.
What is the Work and Health programme?
In West London, Shaw Trust works with the West London Alliance to help residents get into work. Whether you’ve recently lost your job or have been unemployed for a longer time, Shaw Trust is here to support you to develop your skills, find and apply for the jobs you want and get into work. Covering Barnet, Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow, the Programme offers you a tailored approach that works for you.
